about

An album "Half Life" of Poznan based trio Cybernetic Spin is an oscillation between different styles of electronic and psychodelic music. We may tag it with such terms as: cyberdelic, urban roll, noise pop, kosmische music, psybient. Eleven compositions take us into a half world, partly colourfull, partly black and white. It is a computer play which is not without organic passages. Within the music there is a spoken words, poetry in a mood of science-fiction genre.

Cybernetic Spin is an audiopoetic group created in October 2017. Its first album, "Cybernetic Spin", was realized for the Aumega Project netlabel in 2018. It contains the first jam session of the original line-up: Roman Bromboszcz, Krzysztof Han, Karol Firmanty, Adam Jan Kaufmann. A year later, the group changes personally, but inspirations of science fiction, poetry, popular culture, and kosmische musik remain. Currently, the group consists of Roman Bromboszcz, Marcin Ostrychacz and Adam Jan Kaufmann. The 2019 album "Half Life" summarizes the second chapter in the group's history.

The diskette actually contains the entire album, very much compressed, but yes :) Listening to the album from the floppy disk is like listening to the album in its crooked mirror, even more, is like listening on the other side of the mirror.
